D-SETI is a proposed research organization that brings together the work of several existing organizations. Our first step is to provide a resilient container for D-SETI founder’s, Daniel, academic research focused on discovering, documenting, and studying ET contact through psionic dreams.
Seeking Seed Donation
D-SETI is seeking seed-level donations to total $500k distributed over 5 years. These financials are discussed in the D-SETI Research Proposal. The seed donation will be used for:
- Accredited PhD work focused on ET contact through psionic dreams
- Development and hosting of a massive database of dreams through Light Net / Exo Metaverse as an Open Data Commons
- Development of Open Source analysis pipelines based in natural language processing, entity detection, and content analysis
- Development of massive lucid intent experiments through the mobile app Dream Well
- Research into and publication of dreamwork best practices to seek for and establish contact with ET intelligence through dreams
- Facilitation of online dream groups for ET contact through psionic dreams
- Fundraising efforts to establish a capital foundation of $15M to build a research organization on par with Wikipedia or SETI
Comparison with SETI
When SETI was part of NASA, it received a budget of $10M per year. It recently received $100M and operates at around $22M per year. D-SETI is seeking a seed-level donation that is 0.4% of SETI’s operational budget.
It focuses on radio and light transmission as a possible signal for extraterrestrial communication. The probability of communication is founded upon theory and not the actual experience of receiving ET communications. In fact, in its 6 decades of operation, it has not found a single communication from ET civilizations. SETI admits that the Drake Equation, upon which our understanding of the probability of communication, is incalculable. Further, even if SETI found ET, it would take generations to complete an initial dialog.
In contrast, D-SETI puts forward:
- we already have signal for ET communication, as expressed through the overwhelming testimony of reputable citizens
- we have calculable probabilities for contact, which indicate that anyone can have contact given lucid dream training
- we can have instantaneous communication with ET, based upon the nonlocal qualities of the PSI phenomenon as expressed through psionic dreaming
